Merged: Newsnight, Islam and the BNP

A quick note to everyone that a secret undercover filming of a bnp meeting (with nick griffin) is being shown on newsnigtht in a few mintues time! It looks like it is going to show what they REALLY say behind closed doors and what is really going on.

its also a full 1 hour documentary on at 9pm tomorrow. im not so sure abut the BBC showing this, fair enough the BNP have extreme views but who is to say that the BBC is not distorting the angle etc? It would only be fair if they did the same thing with Labour, Conservatives and all the other parties as well to find out what *they* say behind closed doors too... hmm

i dont care about the parties (right now) , what we all know is they are all liars (every politican is) , i will seek great pleasure watching them in their true colours the BNP that is.

i'm sure everyone wants to see the true colours of them, but i think the way the bbc are doing it stinks. the advert for the program tomorrow night had dramatic "evil" music on (if you get me) and the voiceover was a really sinister one as well. I think that the BBC showing this is a big effort to try and influence people to vote a particular way.

Call me naive, but isn't this putting a massively unfair spin on the whole democratic process?

Not every politican is a lair, huge generalistion there. I did see moores film where bush clearly says Saddam was not a thert and didnt have weapons then goes back on that. But i dont think they are all liars. I think nearly all of them are trying to make things better but are playing the game to try and get things done etc etc

if they werent liars they would not manipulate the truth, mainpulate what they say, manipulate promises, manipulate people.

what i saw on that little snippet on the BNP was not new or shocking, but more informative of the thought processes and motivation of its members to be two faced.

the thing that infuriates me is people support them, the reason being they latch on to the fears of the masses, using crowds and convincing them that asians are the primary causes of evil or wrongdoings in this country...

i hope they get jailed, those who incriminated themselves

I agree with all the comments apart from the first sentence. You only here about the high profile politicans also they are not all proved to be lying (in fact none of them have so far) also its a dirty game so some clevel use of words in needed to get things done.

local MPs dont do anything really, they tow the party line, as do the MPs in parliment, one or two are rouges on issues, they usally follow the leader, or take the route of leaving the party (robin cook being an example)

Ken Livingstone should invite them - if he'll glad-hand Gerry Adams and this Islamic cleric that supports killing our peacekeepers in Iraq, these scum should be right up his street.

As always, the BNP say a few things which the fed-up Mr. average CAN agree with, but then spoil it by promoting violence.

Asylum seekers = Cockroaches - well, when the immigration service are TOO BUSY to go and collect a couple that the cops are holding.....
Islam = an evil religion - well, they aren't quick enough to denounce the views of their own violent extremists.

If we could choose to change the approach to immigration in this country, I'd say "copy Australia" - you don't get in, unless we say so (and if the EU don't like it, tough! - the French didn't exactly rush to un-ban our beef when it was declared safe)
