Re: Well Desreved Collina

Every referee should try and match the standard Collina reaches with such ease. And don't make a name for themselves, as Urs Meier found out. It not big and it not clever

No , A team should be good enough to win dispite set backs, the point is all teams get the same odd match where the ref costs them but they should be good enough to survive that. A season lasts 38 games in the premership and if you do not win it it is because you were not good enough NOT because you where cheated out of it.

I am a Arsenal fan and we lost the FA cup in a game where the ref made the worst desicions i have ever SEEN. Henry shot and the ball was heading right for the goal, the keeper was no where near the goal (he had ran out, henry took it past him) and the ball was saved by a liverpool defender sticking out his hand! No card no penalty nothing. The same player then went on the clear about 4 balls of the line.......

Also i am english and no explanation is needed there

But I dont blame refs you have gotta accpet that sometimes refs make mistakes and thats that. Dont you ever make mistakes?

Re: Well Deserved Collina

Are you still bitter about that handball ? it was a perfectly valid block. The ball went to his hand and not his hand went to the ball.

think out of the box, its a final, 90th minuite player attempts a simulation for a penalty its clearly outside the box but the referee gives the penalty...

a few seasons ago the premiership was a tight race with only one or two games seperating the top two, champnships can be won or lost based on a referee's decision, not every team is infallible.

which explians your response about winning championships considering your recent history.

everyone makes mistakes, but its becoming more common, im not talking about fouls or penalisations of a petty nature, im talking about the relatively common aspects of referees affecting outcomes of cup winning games...

Yeah, and the player just happened to dive at the ball with his arm out
