sadly, nothing is shocking anymore, i dont know how a person would get that mentality to even do such a thing, depending on if they were aware they were doing something wrong and illegal, even in morals ethics etc...questions to be asked methinks.

Re: Why castration is NOT the answer
Girls can be far worse than lads.. people always seem to take the stereotypical image that girls are all sweet and innocent... at that age, they can and are far worse than most lads.

Re: Why castration is NOT the answer
Dunno, considerin girls supposadly mature earlier than lads.. maybe its the fact that they find the changes harder to handle ? It just seems nowadays that in that age group (13-15) girls are far more mouthy and abusive that the equivilent aged lads.. However, past 16 they seem to grow out of it, and the lads take over

Re: Why castration is NOT the answer
I think its because boys are usually mouthing off to impress and mantain a image but they dont have any real reason to and are not so vicous. Girls seem to be a lot more angry and vicous when they shout i am not sure why it could be that they manage to create a hate for a person? Or is just there nature.
Usually girls can be a lot more menacing

Re: Why castration is NOT the answer
Could I just point out here that, under the current state of the law on sex offences, "Indecent Assault" includes
"Causing another person to perform indecent acts without consent"
Since a child cannot, legally, consent to a sexual act, even if the boy was actually a willing participant and was not forced or injured in anyway, the act would *still* be classed as "indecent assault".

I was under the impression that that only applied to females. Males could still make a complaint, but charges couldn't be enforced without them?
Anyway, the legal age of culpability is 10. A 13 year old girl would know right from wrong.

Re: Why castration is NOT the answer

Re: Why castration is NOT the answer
It's interesting how when a young male gets prosecuted, it is assumed by many that he took advantage of the female, yet in such cases as this, many will be willing to believe that the male was a willing participant.

I'm not sure if it's actually in force yet, but certainly the revised sex laws are "non-gender specific".

"Knowing right from wrong" is not the same as knowing the law!!

thats true, Also i think there is a lot more horror when its a man on a 'inncoent' little girl as people like to think of it. But it is generally seen as a male crime
