CD sales saw a suprising turnaround in sales, in the US sales were up 10.6% on a year on year comparison, for the first time since 2000 the sector saw growth.
its also noted that the heightened activity in buying music CD's could be in a direct result to people downloading.
its noted that file-sharing has an overall minimal impact in music sales.
