Expert: "Ludicrous" that Beckham used long words in statement
5 Apr 2004
Experts today rejected as "ludicrous" allegations that David Beckham used words of more than two syllables in denying that he was having an affair. The England footballer allegedly released a statement following an alleged story published in the alleged newspaper the News of the Alleged World yesterday, but suspicions were raised when the statement was found to contain words such as "ludicrous", "accustomed" and "erroneous".
"Quite frankly, I don't believe this statement came from David Beckham," said Professor Douglas RamssmÃÃâ€*’¼ll et, an expert in footballers' parlance. "No doubt he gave it his best shot, but on the day I don't think he was up to the job and he's obviously had some help with it."
Greg Mullet, an international handwriting expert, agreed with Mr RamssmÃÃâ€*’¼ll et. "A basic analysis of the writing in the statement shows that it is copperplate, written using a high-quality fountain pen," he said. "This does not match with the sample I have of Mr Beckham's handwriting, which was not joined up, had some of the letters backwards and was written in orange wax crayon."
Mr Beckham is now said to be considering legal action, though he is unsure what for or what that would entail.

Don't believe everything in the media...

Beckham is with his family in Switzerland after reports about an alleged affair with former personal assistant Rebecca Loos.
But Mr Clifford said the break in the ski resort of Courchevel may be shattered by fresh accusations.

...Courchevel is in France!!!

OK so they flew into Switzerland and then went holidaying in France.
Well actually they flew into Geneva Airport, which has access from France and from Switzerland without border control.
It's also a great place to see that the Swiss are not as efficient as they let you believe, but thats another topic.

Beckham?
Who cares!
I don't like to have my daily newspaper filled with 8 pages of rubbish about him!
He kicks a football for money and has a wife who became famous because she was in a manufactured band...they're not the most important people in the world you know.

But the media feels justified in hassling them with this kind of rubbish.

It must be true...
... I mean, come on... If you were married to Posh Spice, you'd want to have an affair too.

Re: ANOTHER woman has a go....
I adore Mr Beckham and would love an "encounter" with him but actually hope these stories aren't true. He seems such a nice genuine fella who has a happy family life and can't think he would go looking for nooky elsewhere. If they do split up though he is some than welcome to come knocking on my door

Re: ANOTHER woman has a go....
Got this from another site I visit, though it summed the Sun up pretty well lol
Monday's Sun in brief: Nice posh girl and diplomat's daughter Rebecca Loos has torrid affair with David Beckham and is then cruelly sacked.
Tuesday's Sun in brief: Rebecca Loos is a nymphomaniac, drug-crazed, bisexual manipulator with absolutely no class. And don't the Beckhams look lovely...

Re: ANOTHER woman has a go....
TBH anything to to with Max bleedin' Clifford is absolutly bulls**t. I dont think the Beckhams have anything to worry about if he is to do with it

But think of the sales...
What I think this brings home is that Mrs. B is never going to be a pop star again, should put her career (hmm oxymoron alert) on hold and move her and the boys over to Spain full time. Maybe learn some spanish and get on with letting him earn his keep.
The press indicated that she pressurised him to move from Man U initially (whether the spats with Ferguson came later who knows). Perhaps she would have perferred Milan, but even so she would have been the one that use to be a spice girl their too.
As an outsider only seeing what goes on in their marriage through the press she seems overly hungry for column inches in hello (and perhaps not hungry enough for Mr. Bs inches ). By living apart a lot of the time rumours were bound to surface, Mr. B cannot live in the UK full time, his job is in Spain, Mrs B could live in Spain full time but chooses not to, hmmm.
