BT still have thousands of customers without service

A severe fire in Manchester has caused a major outage on BT's network in Manchester as many as 130 thousand customers are without service

What do people think ?

Imagine if NTL had such an issue.

Poor back up planning on BT's part or an incident that simply couldnt be avoided ?

See link......BT suffer major outage

I don't see how you could possibly call it poor planning - you cannot legislate for every possible event.
