Internal Dust

I have a tower that rests on the carpet, do I need to worry about the collection of dust internally?

I would open it and find out, but it's still under warranty.

Re: Keeping your pc healthy !

The pc will suck loads of dust and crap out of the carpet. Go maplin and get some sticky feet or sit the tower on a board of some sort..

It's under a year old so I've never needed to and I don't trust myself with hardware.

And that sinister look sticker that says warranty void if torn.

Re: Keeping your pc healthy !

Just come across this little freeware utility. I used to use Spider on my old PC, very good a cleaning the "index.dat" files that are hidden and contain details of every web page you have visited since you first switched on your PC even after clearing Temp Internet Folders etc. Spider does not work on XP, however this one, unfortunately called Crap Cleaner does.

It has no adware/spyware.
