Question Frontpage default file type

I use Frontpage to compose my webpages (yes, I know it's the Satan of packages) and just wondered if there's an option somewhere to change the default saved file type from .htm to .html. It's quite annoying having to rename every file after saving it.

Re: Frontpage default file type

You don't have to rename it after saving it.

When you go to file and save as, just stick an 'l' in front of .htm to make .html and it should save as that IIRC.

Not a really fix, but just worked for me (not that I use FP though). I know in Dreamweaver there is an option to specify what file extension you want to use but I can't seem to see one in FP.

Why do you want to change it ?

Because all my links specify the target in .html format, so it would require me to go through and convert them all to .htm.

Re: Frontpage default file type

Why not save them as .htm and just have a batch file to convert all the .htm files to .html files ?

Layton is an unknown quantity at this point
Re: Frontpage default file type

What I do is when saving the file, just type out the full name. For example instead of just typing index and it saving as index.htm, type in index.html and it'll save as index.html.
