Re: Apple updates: Safari, Java etc.
ooo ... sounds like fun. I'm off to run Software Update then.
<EDIT>
Just run the Updater - didn't detect anything. What exactly was it saying to you?

If it's not showing on Software Update yet then you can download Safari 1.2 from here and the Java update from here.
Also, the first beta version of OmniWeb 5 is available for download.

Re: Apple updates: Safari, Java etc.
Is that another of Apple's annual £100 OS upgrades?
And I thought Microsoft were bad!

Re: Apple updates: Safari, Java etc.
10.1 to 10.2 to 10.3 were free upgrades? :O
I take it back. I was obviously incorrectly informed. Please accept my apologies!

nonoonononono you were right, they were charged for, I was talking about THIS upgrade which is nothing more than safari 1.2 and a better version of java.
Equivalent of IE SP2 (although apple still adds new features between minor updates) and a better version of .... java.
Back on topic many people have reported better safari performance - I certainly have

Re: Apple updates: Safari, Java etc.
I like the new icon for files while they're being downloaded. The icon has a built-in progress bar that shows the status of the download
