Digital photo software

Hi all,

does anyone know of any good free software i could use to turn a photo i have on my digital camera into a black and white pic?

ive got a great photo of my new baby that i want to blow up and put in a nice frame as a pressie for my partner for valentines day!

I use irfanview found here does the lot ( nearly ) and its free

try irfanview , it is free , easy to use and a small download

Have to agree with Irfanview as the recommendation for graphics file conversion - it's the db's.

Thanks guys, downloaded it and after playing about with it for a while, my piccy looks great, the other half will love it
