I probably would`nt remember half of the little i do know if it was`nt for helping others with some of that very same stuff i`ve managed myself along the way.
I happily accept that even after close to 2 years.....not just with Linux but on any pc i am still the preverbial noob,and no doubt always will be.

It`s all still complete gobbildygook in reality but i get by

Bored.....nothing new(bar current hardware) and just testing vm.Not the NTL variety of course but the vm`s as the 19" did`nt wanna play the fullscreen game on the bigger 22".

Had swapped over one of the el cheapo 19" belinea`s for the 22"..........for only Â£10 more.

Offered by manager due to "inconvenience caused".
The initial matching 19" i originally requested never arrived from Aberdeen as promised and that first 22" i settled for had a dead(stuck) pixel smack bang in the center,as did my lads new HDTV

That "Inconvenience caused" spiel sounds so familiar eh

Anyway,still not had time to really play with my own new toys and the kids wont let me anywhere near theirs..........i wonder why

In a rather pointless gesture as we normally access the machine via ssh I just changed the wallpaper on the nthw game server, only punky has seen it, via vnc, but I think he likes it

i often do the same with the kids machines,amonst other things

My lad usually knows whats going on....sometimes but the wife & daughters are real easy to sshut up

Well "ssh-ut up" is not exactly what i`d call it but it`s all in the best of fun......good safe fun at that.

A friend has been hankering after a fish tank desktop for ages and I gave in and installed one for her. I think it's a nightmare but she is captivated by it. I have even had to install the screen saver version as well. They would drive me nuts but if any one wants a animated desktop or screen saver I can recommend this site. To get the full realistic effect you really have to download but you can get some idea by clicking on the pictures shown on the site. ...
