Team SETI@cableforum
I've just started doing SETI@home again now and I've created a CF team for us to use.
Our team is here: http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/team_...?teamid=112396
You can read all about SETI here and download the client!

Re: Team SETI@cableforum
Isn't there one of these things for Cancer and AIDS etc? I don't mean to sound critical but wouldn't it be better to donate spare processing power to something like that instead?

Re: Team SETI@cableforum
Depends on your point of view I suppose, medical research gets a lot more money and resources made available to it than these other smaller projects.

What makes you think the aliens won't help when we find them? Bit negative aren't we? :p
No reason not to run the grid client www.grid.org as well and have a CF team. Just set the grid client to run when you're not around and SETI to run all the time.

Re: Team SETI@cableforum
Joining ..
Im already in a team, although I'd like to leave that one to join here... Will I lose all previous WU's? Or will they migrate so to speak to the CF team?

Re: Team SETI@cableforum
Cheers GC.
Gonna get round to installing it on my bro's computer.
Someone I know (OCUK Seti team), installed it on a few computers at PC World without them knowing
