Roll up, roll up - fresh WUs available  Well, the SETI scheduler is responding but BOINC hasn't downloaded anything. Predictor is dishing out WUs though.

Predictor@home project down this was at 6.45.
SETI@Home schedulers not responding this was at 7.25

Me and greencreeper have got BOINC to start up, and shutdown so far. We're just getting the boot sequence to work automatically, at least it's running but it's waiting for some WU's.

Iv'e decided to switch my laptop's processor speed to 500mhz, so the CPU fan can actually have a break and the CPU can have a lower temperature. Running the benchmarks to make sure I get the extra credit for them taking longer to run.

It's really annoying now, me and greencreeper have been doing loads of working to get BOINC to work on my PC (still working on the boot up and shutdown, when linux is started up and shutdown) and it can't even get any WU's. I want to see if it's any faster than the Windows version or any slower.

Why are you complaining on here about the situation? There is nothing we can do about it, if you feel that strongly complain to the people running SETI and Predictor.
