So a complete stranger who just happened to be in the same room as you, happened across Cable Forum, joined up, and decided to take part in the same thread as you, having worked out (somehow) that the complete stranger sitting in the same classroom as him was the CF member known as 'Scott' .... right ...

Probably because every one knows my name in that class room (about 11 people are in it) and would think "oh that's Scott who takes part in climate prediction".
Why do I get the feeling I'm being blamed for this?

I was making a suggestion....
If it was ME that found out someone had been doing that to me from my class I'D report them, or spank them...
It's up to you how you take my suggestion tho.

Re: Team SETI@cableforum
OK back on topic.
CPDN have increased the ammount of credit give from 76 to 94, which explains the rush of 500 credit I got on my laptops last trickle, because it added the credit from the other trickles (not sure if it was just my laptop, will find out when my Duron trickles again).

Re: Team SETI@cableforum
CPDN have put there credit up as people have been complaining that SETI@Home and other projects give more credit for the work done.
Bit strange I think

Re: Team SETI@cableforum
Einstein@Home has gone into Alpha stages. I don't think it will be long till it goes into Beta stages, then public release
Hopefully by the time it's in public release my WU's on CPDN are finished, I don't want to cut it out and miss all that work.

Re: Team SETI@cableforum
Well I have been doing SETI again for a couple of weeks again and I am not impressed.
I have just checked my results and have found that I have been given no credit for a load of WU's that I have completed. As a rough count I have been refused over 700 credit, when the others that have completed them have been granted but not me.
I am waiting for about 80 results and if they keep doing this they can shove the system where the stars don't shine.

I think Einstein@Home is going to Beta VERY soon, as the Alpha seems to be going very well. I think I'll be sticking with CPDN, but I'm not sure yet. Will have to wait and see
Sorry to hear what happened swoop, nasty
