Media player/s problem

i just went to watch a film with media player classic, but am having a hard time getting the video to go full screen, and i keep getting an annoying bright blue bar on the left of the video. it was not doing this yesterday, no new progs have been installed, nothing. tried several media players and only way i can get rid is to enlarge the media screen manually which is a pain, and something i never needed to do before. this is a pic of the problem, sry for poor quality http://homepage.ntlworld.com/daniel....0/vid_prob.jpg

Daniel

what system / processor are you running?

Example - I have an Athlon 1800+ with 1 gig memory, running XP Service Pack 2.

Excuse me whilst I turn green with jealousy

Do you have the latest nvidia drivers?
or
you could always download Media Player 10, and see if you get the same effect.

Re: Media player/s problem

well after a bit of mucking about, it turns out the dvd itself was the problem. tried some others and they were ok, weird tho as i have never seen that problem before. thanks all the same.
