Word Help

I was using word(97) today, and the document that I use has tables in it, but when you remove the black lines that print from the document, theres no sign of the feint grey line that shows the outline of the table.

I've looked in the options but can't find anything

Re: Word Help

Hmm, I'm working with Word 2003 so I'm not sure if my options will replicate on your version.

On the tables menu, do you have an option for show / hide gridlines?

Re: Word Help

Do you mean the grey lines don't print? Or that they don't show on the screen?
The grid lines don't print, they have to be coloured using tables/borders in order to be seen in print. To show on screen there should be a show/hide gridlines like Rob C says.
