f** you Ebuyer!

Ordered a wedge of stuff from Ebuyer which was due to be delivered yesterday, paid over 20 quid for the delivery charge to Northern Ireland and nothing arrived yesterday and it looks like nothing is going to arrive today ... In their usual style they don't answer "e-notes" and trying to get through to them on the phone is at least 50 times more infuriating than getting in contact with NTL. Anyway ... I can't emphasise it strongly enough ... avoid ebuyer.CON!

edit there's 3 *'s in f***

On the other hand, I have nothing but praise for the service I've had from them! They have been excellent!

You won't be saying that if one of your orders goes astray or you have to return something to them.

Re: f** you Ebuyer!

Just spoke to my CC company who are going to "have a word" with them directly, think I'll stick to Aria.co.uk in future, at least they don't slap a huge premium on shipping to here (and their goods turn up on the day they're supposed to)

Are you sure that it's e-buyers fault? It could be the delivery companies fault....

Until the items are in my hand, it's down to Ebuyer, they haven't supplied any kind of tracking number or delivery method so who else am I supposed to blame? Should I pick a courier company at random?

I must be missing something, it say's:

Deliver by: Thu 27th Nov 2003
(Delivery to N.Ireland)

Which is correct, but it also say's

Payment Method Visa / Mastercard
Order Status Invoiced

I can't see any details on it being despatched, though I did get an email to say it had been (there's no tracking number or delivery company mentioned on that either)

Re: f** you Ebuyer!

I bought a Wireless printer from ebuyer a few weeks back...ordered it at about 2pm and it came next day, I paid for 5 day delivery

I was quite happy with that.

Sorry to hear the flip side to that story tho Bifta

Aria are a bit like that, whenever I order from them before 5pm, it's on a boat/plane with citylink and delivered the next morning/early afternoon and they don't charge any extra to ship it here.

Strange....when I order they give me a parcelforce tracking number and I can track it's whereabouts really well. I ordered my gpu at 8pm on thursday and it was with me at 11.45 am on friday! .....Not that it helps you at all

I bought a new hard drive and some CD pens from them the other week..

The CD pens got dispatched the same day and came in right big box full of air packs the morning after (All that for CD pens)

This seemed a bit pointless to me.

According to there website this came from a different where house, it didn’t list delivery tracking numbers with that parcel.

Anyway three days later the hard drive arrived within a box with foam... That came via city link and listed a tracking number on the invoice.

Perhaps some of your order is coming from different warehouses, you can tell by looking at the colour of the square. On my order CD pens came from Black Square warehouse and the HD from the orange

Re: f** you Ebuyer!

It's probably sat on the runway at belfast city or international waiting for someone to say "What's that box?" or customs have decided to take interest in it for some reason

I've seen that so many times - used to ship alot of kit between leeds and belfast - got so bad used to pay a man to drive over!!!

I wouldn't be surprised if they're playing football down the runway with it.
