Desktop Wallpaper
I have been given the task to create a desktop wallpaper for the company I work for, its got to include the company logo and several other logos. I have got Adobe Photoshop and I have tried to paste the logos into it but it will not let me, its needs to be at a resolution of 1024x768 but I cannot manage to get all the logos in. Can some one help me as I am at a loss.

Re: Desktop Wallpaper
What does it say when you are try?
You should just click the file, paste, and it should add as a new layer.

Re: Desktop Wallpaper
Try creating a new blank layer and then pasting it into that.

Re: Desktop Wallpaper
It doesnt give me the option to paste even though I copied it. Managed to get it working in Paint Shop Pro 9 so I can now crack on, maybe its just I do not have enought knowledge of Photoshop.

Re: Desktop Wallpaper
FYI - Leagaly, no UK bassed company should "fix" users wallpaper to one specific picture or colour scheme. Will try and find the DTI link later...

Re: Desktop Wallpaper
I hope thats not the case. I'll be interested to read any info that you find.

At the moment my login script copies the wallpaper if it doesn't exist ( or has been deleted ) and sets it as active.
Once we impliment roaming profiles through active directory we'll be locking the desktop down bigtime.

Re: Desktop Wallpaper
Indeed. Something i've suffered from at work, as well.
Incidentally, Matthew, when you're creating your corporate wallpaper, please think about the poor sods who are going to have to sit there looking at it all day! ;-)
