Why is it......?

That for some reason I cannot empty my trash can in hotmail using IE. It just says "AN ERROR HAS OCCURED, CLICK HERE FOR A RESOLUTION" I do so and it asks me if I'm sure I want to do it, I say yes...and it doesn't do it!!! Aaaargh! I can do it in Firefox though.

It's not a major problem, it's not been a good week for MSN though, what with messenger online/offline status malfunctioning, though from what I can see many others got lumbered with that too.

Anyway, does anyone know why, for no apparent reason, I can't empty my trashcan, or even how to fix it. If it helps, it doesn't appear to be emptying automatically after 24 hours either. I can always use Firefox of course, I just find it a bit too blown up with whistles and bells and prefer IE.

Hotmail just seems to meess up from time to time. It can be annoying.
Try emptying your temp internet files to see if that cures the problem at all.
