Tiger X86
I have access to Mac OSx Tiger for x86 platform but I do not know wether its going to be worth the hassle. Can it be installed in a multi boot configeration?Or will I need fresh hdd to install? Has anyone done this or set it up on a pc?

Re: Tiger X86
Most of the guides are set up to run it as WMware. IIRC, WMware allows you to run another OS concurrently with the one you booting into, as a virtual machine. I.e. You boot into windows, and you run OSX in a window.
I think if you want to run it directly, you need a blank separate HD. Most how to guides suggest this. Might be to do with how it handles boot sectors/master boot record and such, don't forget, you aren't supposed to do this, OSX was never designed for it, it was design for Apple x86 hardware only.

What are the specs of your system, it requires a minimum of an SSE2 CPU.

Re: Tiger X86
NForce 3 chipset isnt supported, is probably where youre going wrong. Even if you get it working you wont get Sound, Ethernet and probably USB.

Re: Tiger X86
True but VMWare relies a fair bit on the hardware of the host PC, its only emulating a PC inside a PC so whats the point of emulating hardware that's already there?
