Pen Drive USB TV Tuner for Notebook
Hi all,
I have just ordered one of these:
Here
Has anyone had any experience of these things? I have seen the Hauppauge PVR2USB things which look pretty huge - is this thing going to be awfull because of its size??? I havent been able to find any reviews on Google - just snippets from the link above. I dont think its been out too long. I was hoping to use it with my Powerbook - but the drivers are still being made - hopefully out soon.
So - any chance of it being 1/2 decent??

Too big to take around with PBK, needs PSU, and doesnt do analogue - never too sure about freeview reception.

if it works as billed, that will be awesome - but I wonder how good a signal it needs, to work with the supplied antenna?

Re: Pen Drive USB TV Tuner for Notebook
Thats what I was worrying about. What I realy wanted was just a video input to connect my XBOX with windows media centre extender to my pc- but got a bit carried away! Anyways - it would be nice if the arial was ok, as I could use it in the car, and possibly on the train (save looking slightly odd setting out an arial on the table).
Will report back on thursday! (if it comes back in stock in time...)

Re: Pen Drive USB TV Tuner for Notebook
I always prefer pcmcia cards to usb dongles like this one - Linky (cheaper too)
And if you require digital to try this
