new laptop

Hi I just got a new laptop and I have connected it wirelessly to my cable modem hub and works fine ,but when I start up my laptop there is a window pops up saying its connected and there is two more in that wundow saying Bluetooth off and Wi-Fi Direct off should these two be on hope you can help cheers take care best regards .

WIFI direct is new and allows devices to connect directly instead of through a traditional home network. Leave it off. Bluetooth is for connecting bluetooth devices (obviously) only turn it on when you need to use it
