Failed Applications
I'm having difficulty with a Desktop PC, For Some reason I'm getting a busy mouse cursor on the desktop as though something is running or opening (Busy).
First of all, its 8bg, Windows 7, Hex Core.
After trying to open firefox, I get no response, I've also tried opening world of warcraft (Game), and the same problem occurs.
I've gone into resource manager under task manager, and it says the applications I have tried to open have been suspended.
The only way I can get these programs to run, is to right click the application that says suspended, and click resume process.
Anybody know what's causing this?

Re: Failed Applications
One suggestion is to try running in safe mode and see if the problem occurs.

Re: Failed Applications
backup your files then fresh install using an install with the latest service pack integrated (sp1 for w7)

Though this probably works it's a sledgehammer to flatten a molehill and a complete PITA to re-install all the apps.
What is more likely is that with the ongoing VM network problems that these programs are hanging as they can't set up links to their servers. Both FF and WWC send info to/from their servers and FF requests plugin updates on startup I get something similar out of bit torrent DNA if the network is down.
