Re: windows 7

You will need to install your own email client as Windows 7 does not come with one by default.

You can download Windows Live Mail from HERE

Incredimail from HERE

Thunderbird from HERE

The Virginmedia homepage has links to webmail but you would need to set up an email client if you wanted to access your email as in Outlook Express or Windows mail.

Re: windows 7

I assume you've installed one of the programs that Masque suggested.
For example Thunderbird.

When you open the program it will ask you for your virgin username and password for that email account.
Once you put those in it should sort everything else out for you and start downloading your new messages.

Re: windows 7

Download Thunderbird from the link here on your laptop:
http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/all.html

Install it and then run the program.

It will prompt you to set up your Email account.
This is where you will put in your username and password for that virgin account.
Then it should load up the program and download your emails into the inbox.

Click HERE or the link below and then click the top link and look for the email client you have chosen and follow the instructions.

How do I configure my POP email client to get Virgin Media Mail?
