Monitor Not Fullscreen

Ive got a Acer G245HQ Monitor here, and Just Installed Vista 32 on The PC, Updated everything, and installed the monitor software, etc etc

My problem is that the active desktop is not full screen, and there doesnt seem to be an OSD menu to adjust the horizontal and vertical, i've looked through the manual, online and offline, and tried everything in the OSD but i'm just not finding the screen adjustment.

Can anyone help?

Just to confirm you've got the resolution in Vista set to the native resolution of the screen?

i dont know, im having problems with the graphics card software

In that case it sounds like a driver/graphics card issue. Only time I've seen an LCD monitor do what you are describing is if the input has been lower than the panel resolution

Your PC should be outputing 1920x1080 according to the web for that monitor

everythings brand new out of the box, just built the system, usually when i plug i a monitor i get full screen automatically, or theres an OSD menu to adjust the desktop to full width, but this isnt working for me.

How do i set native in vista? I'm so used to Win7.

problem solved,theres an icon on the taskbar to allow me to extend it,
