Win XP Mode

Hi
I am running Win 7 Ultimate and have tried to download the XP mode software...which I can, but nothing appears on my start menu with any reference to it as the installer says it should and my old XP software still doesn't work.
Control Panel thinks it's installed but I cannot find it.

Any help appreciated.

TIA
WTP

Re: Win XP Mode

Check your BIOS has virtualisation enabled. Many are disabled by default.

The XP Mode has to be set up for each user. So if you install it as an admin account, but normally run as another user you will need to set it up in for your regular user as well. Effectively each XP Virtual mode install is unique to the user.
