Question All-in-one inkjet recommendations?

After a cheap all in one inkjet that has scanner, wifi (or wired network) and a card reader built in. Must have cheap replacement inks and be available from amazon or ebuyer.

Any recommendations?

Re: All-in-one inkjet recommendations?

I went for a Kodak Hero 5.1, the reason is the cheap replacement cartridges, £19 for both the black and coloured together, fantastic print quality too.

Re: All-in-one inkjet recommendations?

Been thinking of buying the missus one of the larger Kodaks for that reason. How's the photo print quality using non-Kodak photo paper?

Fantastic quality I have found, using any brand of photo paper.
Ink quality seems better than my previous Lexmark's too.

Re: All-in-one inkjet recommendations?

Interesting. I have a couple of old Lexmarks 3 in 1's and was a bit worried that the print quality claimed would be dependent on using expensive Kodak photo-paper.

IIRC Kodak ink is pigment based and lasts a lifetime whereas many others are dye based.

Most upper ranges use pigment based inks

Been using HP photo paper recently, and the results are just as good as the Kodak paper. But that's just my opinion.

Re: All-in-one inkjet recommendations?

I eventually went for an Epson PX730WD.. great photo printing (6 ink superb results), built in duplexer and I can get a cheap bulk ink kit for it (so I can use some trade inks)

Re: All-in-one inkjet recommendations?

I have a Epsom SX425W Scanner & Printer. I bought a cheap ink catridge from Amazon & the printing was awful. It only lasted 2 month. So I had to pay £34 for a good one, Hope it last longer. I had a HP printer & scanner separate before that & it was no problem & the ink lasted for a long time & was easier to replace.

Re: All-in-one inkjet recommendations?

Yep, always avoided the SX range as they're the lowest of the low.. I can get decent ink cheap in bulk only (through a friend who has his own printing place) so I made sure that I can get a bulk kit for this printer..

Also just found out that I can claim a free European return flight just have to pay taxes

Re: All-in-one inkjet recommendations?

I am seriously thinking of buying another Printer/Scanner as this one is getting me down. Sometimes the scanner is Ok & the printer is not & then Vice Versa. It has to be set up again. What is the best one to buy at reasanable price.

EPSON SX425 I am fed up with & it is only 10 month old.

I have the Epsom Stylus SX600FW (which has probably been replaced by something else now).

Anyway it has lasted longer than any other all in one printer/scanner/fax that I've ever had previously.
