unable to access outlook after upgrading

hi,

i was using outlook 2003 from past 3years to access my emails. last week i successfully upgraded to outlook 2007. after configured my outlook account and just copied the PST file from my backup and replaced but am unable to access. again i tried more than 10times but same error. so is there any particular way for importing pst file or outlook migration with which i can get all my previous outlook data in 2007.

PST files from outlook 2003 are fully compatible with 2007... Instead of adding the file, simply import the file into your existing PST that outlook 2007 created when you configured it. Just click on File > Import and export > outlook > import from another program or file > Personal Folder File (.pst) and then simply direct it to where the original PST file is located.

Also, double-check that the pst file from your backup is not set to 'read-only' as I've a vague memory of that giving problems in the past.
