keystation mini 32

Hi,

Can't seem to find any info on this or no reply's from email's i've sent...i dont suppose anyone know's if the M-audio keystation mini 32 work's with reason 5 and reason 6 ?

No reason why it won't work with either version of Reason. It's really only a problem when you start using controllers that try to be "intelligent" by inserting a template layer between the DAW and your device to control funky lights and LEDs.. a la Novation Remote SL.

Aye you don't need anything fancy really. Nice to have tactile control of everything with these funky controllers if you're doing a live DJ set for eg. but for the project studio what you have is really all you need for cooking some beats or basslines. As long as your PC/Mac can see it Reason will see it.

thanks guys, manged to get one from amazon with free next day delivery and works fine, my next question is there anyway i can stop reason from setting off my screen saver, i've noticed vlc and other things stop it, obviously i want it on at times but would like to stop it with reason too, can i control what program's it come's on with ??

Not overly familiar with Reason but if you can't find an option keep the idle timer reset (assuming you are using Windows) then try running this in the background:

There are also usb dongles you can buy for around 15 quid which do the same job.
