Re: v+ to monitor

The V+ should have an HDMI output socket. Depending on your monitor's connectivity, you may be able to get an HDMI to VGA or DVI adaptor, but make sure that it works the right way round i.e. HDMI on the V+ end and VGA / DVI on the monitor end.

Re: v+ to monitor

It should be, but also make sure the monitor is HDCP compliant too.

Re: v+ to monitor

Oh and as your old monitor doubtless doesn't have speakers you are going to need some form of audio component, and getting that outo of the V+ box could be interesting.

Re: v+ to monitor

VGA isn't too good but you can work around it. HP have this: http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/image...3a_190x170.jpg
on their website which is more likely to function flawlessly with your monitor specifically than other generic brands.

Then you'll need a RCA to 3.5mm jack for the sound:

You should be able to get both for under a tenner and be able to get a 720p picture on your monitor.
