how can i extract 'ALL PICTURES' from a dvd slideshow

hey guys

i have a dvd slideshow which i need to extract the pictures from.
the dvd files are vob files (video and audio ts folder)

can anyone please advise the quickest way to extract the pictures from this slideshow...is there a program?

Hopefully its not an adult film

I know Windows movie maker can "pause" and that snap shots but I'm not sure what exact formats it takes.

i was looking for a quicker way, rather than snap shot. i wanted to preserve a good quality for print

There isn't really another way than manually doing it and on a DVD your not going to get a higher res than 720x576, dreadful for print. No chance you can get the raw shots?

They are most likely now rendered as video so you won't be able to get them.

The only way I see this is to use VLC player, play the DVD in that and press Shift + S to take a snapshot whenever you want.
That will save the image.
