Registration expired on new toshiba laptop :(.

Hi all bought a toshiba laptop for the wife and when we bought it a couple of months ago couldn't register it with toshiba as it said the registration period had expired. Now i figured it was just the one year warranty thing and having that already didn't worry too much about it.

But this morning she started it up and it says she can get a free hardware upgrade but she has to be registered with toshiba which we cannot do because everytime we try it just says registration has expired after entering all the details for registration. So is this a common thing with toshiba and is there anyway round it so she can get her freebie.

Any help greatly appreciated .

Tried that calling the UK number that came on the documentation and it wasn't recognised . Only number i didn't try was in europe have to watch the pennies and wasn't sure if it was premium rate euro number or not.

Toshiba Customer Service is normally really good, I wouldn't think you'll have too many problems if you can contact them.
