Debian Wheezy News

Today the Linux Kernel version 3 arrived in the Debian Wheezy (Testing) repo's, both standard and Real Time Kernels are available.
Upgrading went off without difficulty, just had to re-install the nVidia proprietary video driver as you would with any Kernel update.
There are no major new features in the new Kernel, the Kernel Developers have spent time cleaning up the code and removing crud that has built up over the years, this has resulted in reduced latency so everything happens slightly faster.
I have been using it all day and I have experienced no problems at all and it is definitely an improvement, go for it....
