System Does Not Have Enough CPU Power

I'm Getting An Error When Installing Software, It Says Something Similar To...........

"Theres Not Enough CPU Power To Run or Install This Software"

It's A Recent Build AMD Hex Core 3.2 Ghz Black Edition, 8Gb DDR3, Win 7 Home.

All The Processors Are Running In Windows. It's Showing 6 Cores in The System Information, It's Running Pretty Smoothly.

I've Used PC Wizard To Test the CPU And They Are All Running At Under 5%

I dont Understand Why These Programs Are Saying this About The CPU power, and Was Wondering If Anyone Had Any Suggestions.

Could It be A BIOS issue? is It Windows trying To Screw With me?, Do Some Programs See Hex Core As Single Cores? Anything Please.

Ty in Advance

---------- Post added at 22:38 ---------- Previous post was at 22:38 ----------

PS- it Did Allow me To Install The Programs & they Run Fine

Re: System Does Not Have Enough CPU Power

Sounds like they don't recognize the CPU hence you;re getting that error

Re: System Does Not Have Enough CPU Power

I run an AMD Hex Core with Linux and Windows under VirtualBox, most of the Windows applications I run are from way back and I have never seen that error message under either OS.

Re: System Does Not Have Enough CPU Power

Perhaps then it's the motherboard misreporting the CPU to some applications..

Asrock (and any other manufacturer) make boards for a specific socket, chipset and memory configurations... doesn't mean to say that the board is misreporting or doesn't have the correct bios.. Have you tried a more upto date bios?

As Sirius says let us know why programs.. Also it's strange if you're getting these warnings on more than one program.. It's as though you have another program monitoring installs and it's that program complaining and not the programs you're trying to install again probably due to it not recognizing the CPU..

Only other thing which could cause a similar warning is PSU power to CPU but you;d get the warnings when you run them and not on install...

Re: System Does Not Have Enough CPU Power

Last time I saw a error like that was installing a game that said it needed a 2.4ghz single core cpu, and I was installing it on a 2.2ghz dual core so it gave me the error never seem it since then though.

Re: System Does Not Have Enough CPU Power

Also, it could be that your CPU is in power saving mode so running at a lower speed while it's not busy
