re: [update] Firefox 4 Release Candidate 1 now available
I like this beta 10, it seems to be running just fine at the moment.
I'm having a break from Opera, it never runs on all cylinders. Is there a way of moving the tab bar to the bottom of the screen?, I'm so used to having it in that position in Opera.

I don't think you can do that, all i know is you can have it at the very top or below the address bar.

Install Tab Mix Plus development build:
http://tmp.garyr.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10888
Then go to Options -> Tabs -> Tab Mix Plus Options
Display -> Tab Bar
Position drop down -> Bottom

That's a shame, but I'll get used to it. I've used opera for donkeys years, but am becoming fed up with it not being 100%
EDIT: Just caught up with your helpful replies, thanks, I'm gonna give it a go.

The only thing about putting the tabs on the bottom is it kinda ruins the look of the browser at the top i think.

My fonts are all different and mine are set to the default? My screen res is 1680x1050.
|
My settings are the same as Snoopz. I always install using my previous profile, so the settings are the same as FF 3.6.
I tried to screenprints of the window, but when you look at the pics, you cannot see any difference and you would be wondering what I was going on about.
Thanks for your help.
EDIT: When I have just seen the attachments, I actually prefer FF4

Mal try turning 'Hardware acceleration when available' off if you're finding your text to be not looking right? And/or update your video drivers.
In the Options dialog, select the Advanced panel. Then open the General tab for the setting to turn off hardware acceleration.
