A few questions regarding tweaking a windows 7 build

Hello.

I've just built a pc for a friend and put windows 7 on it.

I have a few issues/questions and was hoping I might get some suggestions.

1. Is it possible to change the default installation path for programs from c:\program files to say g:\program files where g: is a separate physical hard disk?

2. I have done quite a few multiple monitor installs with xp and vista without a problem but can't get this one right. Even though I have set the correct resolutions on both screens, the 1280x1024 screen is displaying the squashed 1280x720 res of the 2nd display.

3. The pc has 2 soundcards and she switches between them depending on what she's doing. It's quite a few mouse clicks to do it each time. I can't seem to create a shortcut to the control panel section. Is there an easier way to do this?

4. If she is watching a film on the 2nd display while working on the 1st, media player constantly shows the time controls. Can it be tweaked to only show up when the cursor ison the 2nd display? If not, can anyone recommend a program to watch DVDs that doesn't have this issue?

Thanks very much.

For 3. If you go into the control panel and right-click Sound and click Create Shortcut it puts one on the desktop for you.
