I have an ati 3870 512mb in my pc right now. I was getting a problem with it playing games.

.I kept getting Atikmdag all the time. I just replaced my psu with an 850watt Pc power and cooling ssl edition for £35 off the bay

That did solve the problem. But I still get it every so often. So now I think that the problem is either vista 64 or the ati drivers.

Today I was at the local sunday market. I got me fags before the blues came to raid the place

Anyways at the local car boot there I came across an old couple with a stall. Well the old timer was given a new graphics card at crimbo. But he didint have the right lead to connect it to his monitor. Any ways I made out .Maybe it dont work ect. I bought it for £20

So should I take out me 3870 512mb jobbie. Replace it with this new beast untill ati get their drivers sorted out.

Ps I know someone there with a pc shop and the card was tested and it powered up ok

Is it a 512MB or a 1GB card. I would put the more powerful card in yes.

It is a more powerful card. is it deffo a GT and not an old GTS? why did the old timer just not buy a cable the story does not make sense ? The card ships with adapters

Too thick I guess its a 512mb gt card. Well more fool him. He and his mrs where not what I would call straight forward people. To be blunt more like simpletons. But hey I never take advantage of a good situation.
