Help me choose a new 22" monitor
Looking to get a 22"er but as usual I havnt checked out all of em (no time)
Anyway here's what I'm leaning towards.
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/143051
or
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/147183
Both have their good and bad points but neither have DVI (even though the hyundai says it has it hasnt) which is something I would prefer.
So my remit is.
£150 or less ( I cant consider monitors over this price as I promised my wife & myself I wouldnt spend to much as next month I will be getting a new ATI 4850\4870)
DVI high on the preference list
5ms or less
vesa compatible mount
Thanks in advance
Al

Re: Help me choose a new 22" monitor
I'd go for a Samsung too.
Always thought they were great at producing monitors.
I'm hoping to get myself a nice Samsung 24" at Christmas.

Re: Help me choose a new 22" monitor
Ah sorry missed that requirement, well in that case out of the 2 you posted I'd go for the LG, although for 150 don't expect much, if it were me I'd postpone it if possible until I could afford 250 or be prepared to downsize slightly!

Re: Help me choose a new 22" monitor
Although £150 is the requirement its not set in stone but I would rather be as close to that than a long way off.
I think at the moment I'm sitting on the fence between SnoopZ dell offering and the LG http://www.ebuyer.com/product/143051 although the LG doesnt have DVI the overall spec is very good.
ATM we have a 19" Philips 190S and we're finding the screen width of 1280 a little restricting where spreadsheets are concerned.
There's a few more days before I order so any other recommendations will be welcome.
Thanks all for all your suggestions

Re: Help me choose a new 22" monitor
I looked at a 22" in Aldi, recently & that was £189 - including VAT, so the Dell one linked by SnoopZ does look good ....

Re: Help me choose a new 22" monitor
I'd go for this one personally...
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/145315
Big fan of the samsungs here, I use the 206BW as do several of my friends after seeing mine. Its only a 20" but it does support the required resolution of 1680x1050, its a good size and very good quality, whats better still is that it does have DVI (Even comes with the cable) and is well within your budget brand new if you can find a supplier that still sells them. The 226BW (22" version) may well be just above your budget so is also an option.
