I have this Samsung 500 gig hdd, and of late when my computer is starting up of i click on firefox to get it loading, i hear a clicking noise coming from me hdd then everything freezes for a few seconds then comes back on?
Is there a way to fix this?
is it your main drive? from a cmd prompt type chkdsk */r * is drive letter to scan if its main drive a rebbot and offline scan will be required. Back up first and now . With a bit of luck a bad setor will be found and marked and that will be all it is without luck the drive will die soon
