Media Player 11 and album info

Hi

I'm having problem with MP11. I use the find album info which find s the details for me but with some of my cds when I close MP11 and go back in to it is seems to split some of my tracks into different album titles then I fix it up and close the program reopen it and its fine but then some other album has go funny.

Any ideas what maybe causing it not to remember the album details?

i have no idea mine constantly when i play a album will bring that to the top in the, libary and then when i listen to a individual track it puts that to the top, also it muddles the albums up because quite a few come up as different songs, wigan pier is the worst for it they come up a beck and alsorts.

i just right click and play with media player if the files have the names then they show in media player, i dont bother updating my libary anymore because of the issues i have

I do like using MP11 except I dont see the point of updating the track info if its cannot remember the details or seems to change them when ever it wants.

anybody else come acorss this problem.

you can drag them back in after you got the album info.

as some albums are different in other areas of the world.

once you got the info just drag back in and delete duplicates if needed, it will be fine after that, as I had that prob

Sorry you lost me...

how do I solve this problem. I was having a look and all my files are set to read-only but when I try and change the folder to not be read-only its seems to do it but then when I have a look at the properties its set back again to read-only files. Could this perhaps be the reason?

I am logged in as an administrator account and am using xp media centre edition.
