Software Set Up
Just wondering what is your software set up, What programs do you need and what for
Utorrent (downloading)
Windows Media Player (Playing music and Videos)
Firewall (Keep the nasties out)
AV (Kill Viruses)
Ccleaner (Clean My registry)
Thats it really I dont do much else on my pc
So what about you

Virtual DJ (Music)
Windows Live OneCare (Security)
That's it really. Vista comes with a lot of programs, so don't really need to install many other programs.

- Microsoft Word for work.
- Ableton Live, Propellorhead Reason, and various VST's for music.
- Photoshop & Dreamweaver for design.
- Firefox, Thunderbird for Internet and Email.
- Nod32 Antivirus.

Media - VLC player for music, DivX & x264; PowerDVD ultra for DVD; Media Center for TV.
AV/Firewall - ZoneAlarm Security Suite supplemented by a-squared free for spyware checks.
Registry cleaner - jv16 Power Tools, Registry Mechanic
E-mail - Windows Live Mail & Gmail
Office - Open Office version 3 Beta
Disk burning - Nero 8
Internet - Firefox
Media file conversions - DVDFab Platinum, ConvertX to DVD
File viewer - Irfanview
Ping, Trace etc - Sam Spade
Print over network - Network Magic
Archives - Alzip & QuickPar
Backup & Disk Management - Paragon HDM suite 2008
Pleased to say that all are either free or fully paid for/bundled versions.
