hard drive partition 3 in to 1

Hi,

I have just install Windows XP Home with all updates etc...
Anyway the hard drive has 3 partitions, is there a way for me to get it into 1 partition ?

If so could someone point me in the right direction and if I need software is there any free software to do it.

Or if you've just installed it and don't mind doing it again, delete all the partitions when asked where to install, then install onto a fresh hdd all in one
