@ Handyman - yep go with XP...
Will look into it, going to be fun as its all part of programs and setup packages rather than just driver files.
Can I thump Bill Gates?

Reason I'm using VM server rather than workstation is because it's free. Hmm, wonder if vmserver 2 beta is compatible...

VirtualBox is also free and works fine on Vista 32 (prob on 64 as well). I much prefer it to VMW Server.

Re: What OS to install?

If you want my 2 cents worth.. Bin Vista and go to Xp Pro. Vista is going to be the new choice for hackers and script kiddies everywhere over the next year. Or Go with linux as a few people recommend.

Install XP. Greater user base. Larger knowledge base. Stable.
