Angry MSN problem

Since buying a new laptop with Vista and a Belkin (cable) router I have not been able to use MSN. Thought it was Norton. But its not. Friend suggested that Vista automatically turns of Wireless on set up. Its on so its not that either. I can't find anything or anyone anywhere to hele me

I can send about 3 messages then it throws me out....

aaaagh its infuriating!! Please help if you can?!

Could be a firewall issue on the Belkin Router? You may need to enable MSN's ports to be forwarded/opened.

If you have other PCs in the house does it do the same to them?

Try turning Vista's firewall off and see if that solves the issue.

My Vista laptop works ok on MSN.

If you can't get it working, you can use rudementary features of MSN by going to webmessenger.msn.com Does that kick you out too?

By the way, yes it is doing it on both computers. One PC and one laptop, I can't download or upload any music either....I have disabled firewall, it makes no difference. I can't find any settings for the router? aaagh
