Windows Server 2000
Morning
Anybody know where I can download a copy of Windows Server 2000?
It's no longer available via MSDN and Microsoft say that you need to download it from the Internet, the problem is that I can't find anywhere I can download it.
I have the required licences, I just need the media/installation software.
Cheers.

Re: Windows Server 2000
Not sure on that one. I know if you have a volume license agreement you can logon the the MVLS Website and download a copy. But thats all I know.
Any reason why it has to be 2000 server?

Yeah, we're putting together a VMWare based lab and would like to have representative samples from a number of different systems to play with. Server 2k was the only one we hadn't managed to lay our hands on.

Pretty good idea, although won't you now need a rather powerful server, if you plan on running them simultaneously?

My thinking is that it should have at least been PM'd.

Re: Windows Server 2000
To save any further "eek" moments, it's sorted now we're in the process of installing.
Thanks all

Ignoring the fact that you presumably posted a link to warez did you actually bother to even read the thread at all?
He said he was looking for a version of Win2K Server. Windows Server 2003 is not the same thing as Windows 2000 Server. Posting a link to Win2K3 - especially when he's already said that he's got MSDN access - is pointless... you might as well have just pointed him to https://www.redhat.com/apps/download/ instead
