Unhappy AV/cinch input problem on PC

I connected my PS2 to the AV sockets on the fornt of my PCso that i could use it near my PC then i could have a ethernet from the PS2 to my PC, but... the picture is black and white

Any idea why?

Spit that again!!!?

You've connected your PS2 to AV sockets on the front of your PC?

The socket name would help - like phono's / svideo or something?

Anyway - at a guess I would say you have something set to use NTSC not PAL.

Righto - so you have phono connections red / white will be your audio (left + right) and yellow will be video...

lol, yes

thats what i had but it comes out black and white and also i think the program i am using (Power Cinema) seems to only allow video when using phono connections and no audio?

do you know any free programs i can try to see if it works using them?

Should work with the software you got...

I'd check the setup (Control Panel) first...

ok, ill have a mess around with it and see what happens

Ok, ive plugged everything in and ive got colour now, but no sound

i went to the settings of Power Cinema and the Audio drop down thingy is greyed out
