Keyboad Lag

Hello all.

I'm experiencing Keyboard Lag recently, and I would like if anyone can help resolve this. I've been using my keyboard A4 Tech KL-7MU for couple of months now, until just a week ago I've been experiencing Keyboard Lag when playing UT99 and Painkiller(whole series) I had exact same problem before on a different Keyboard, however that was resolved when it was a trojan/spyware that cause it. But not this time. I've scanned my PC using Avast, scanned using Ad-Aware, Registry clean up, scanning/improving my system performace using Tune Up Utilities 2008, and yet still this hasen't worked. I'm out of ideas.

Heres the problem: I let the gas off when moving any direction and it's still moving for a couple of seconds. And whenever try to move/type any keys during a Keyboard Lag, the PC makes a lot of beeping noise.

Any help?

Re: Keyboad Lag

Sorry, but I threw my old one away. If I have no other option, I guess I have to buy one.

Re: Keyboad Lag

I had a similar thing when I had a wireless keyboard. Got rid and went back to good old wired.

Funny thing is, ive had my wireless keyboard nearly 4 years now and its still an amazing keyboard, rather large though

Anyway, to try and fix the lag, go to Accessability options and make sure none of the keyboard ones are turned on, they are what should make the PC beep when you press certain keys

Re: Keyboad Lag

Is it a USB keyboard ?
Try plugging it in a different USB port.

Re: Keyboad Lag

i had a microsoft wireless kb and only got lag when the batterys were dying but now use a wired one, as they really are better for gaming i'm using a £9.99 microsoft wired kb and the wireless one cost £44.99 as a set, mouse is excellent keyboard is good just not for gaming, my advice is get a wired kb and really there's no point spending allot on it unless you want all the fancy extras that most people don't use.
