It maybe your cookies settings, to save the hassle use Firefox or Opera to view the site.

have you tried just turning down your security settings or just download firefox and give that a bash

try turning a few things up to speed up firefox. network.http.pipelining set to true.
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests set this to 10 don't go any higher than that as some isp get a bit touchy.
network.http.proxy.pipelining set this to true.
all this is done in firefox . just clear the address bar and type in about:config

then type pipe in the filter bar.

IIRC all the newer versions of Firefox have this enabled already. If not, the faster fox plugin / add on does the lot for you

the trouble is by default firefox is still set-up for dial-up.
so if you have Bb a couple of tweaks and it becomes super fast.
micro$oft won't let you play with there settings

Chuck it away, along with Norton (another hog). Install Avg Free and Avg Antispyware Free instead. You'll notice a real speed up, though not at 8.00 am when it does it's scan and update.Apart from then ,it's not going to slow you nearly as much.
P.s.If using Spybot Search and destroy, don't install or run Teatimer. It too causes nothing but trouble.
How much memory do you have? Xp needs at least 1gb, preferably 2. My granddaughter's came with 516mb, was useless running xp ,even with two 512 mb sticks (the most that would fit.)
I installed her Windows 2000 Pro, it runs like a dream. However, I don't know where you'd find w2k these days.
I've used adaware on tons of machines, and it is not a real hog.
XP does not need at least 1GB at all.
Memory requirements for the original XP was 64 MB.
Most people would be able to get by with 512 MB.
