think i have fixed it now!

have downgrade to an early BIOS and have not got it running @ the correct speeds!!

hey solvent candy i have the a q6600 and the same ram as you the 4gb ocz reaper 800mhz i have, my cpu at 3.0ghz and the ram at 800mhz with the timings of 4-4-4-15 with a 2.2 voltage, for the ram as this is what it says the ram will support on overclockers shops site. i had it set at these timings on my asus p5n-d, mobo and now on my asus formula striker 2 mobo as the p5n-d wouldn't let me run sli properly. try setting the timings to 4-4-4-15 and use 2.2v see if that sorts it but if it doesn't the maybe either the ram or mobo is faulty best bet is try your ram in another pc just to make sure.
