Smile Setting New Tab To Google Default In Firefox

Does anyone know a way to get a new untitled tab to open at www.google.com immediately on selection please?

Google is my home page and when Firefox opens the first tab defaults automatically to google. I'd like the rest of the tabs to do that too when selected.

Any help greatly welcomed. TIA.

Re: Setting New Tab To Google Default In Firefox

Install the Tab Mix Plus extension.

In the preferences for that there's an option to make a new tab open at any location you want...

Re: Setting New Tab To Google Default In Firefox

Type the URL “ https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2221 ” in the browser and
download the Firefox add-on to your computer.

Restart Firefox

After restarting, go to tools optionsMain tab

In this tab—you have “Add-ons”- click on “Manage Add-ons”

Go to “New tab Urloptions” ------- Set default Url as WWW.GOOGLE.COM

Save and exit.
